We seek a responsible leader to organize and facilitate our public and private events. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests upon arrival
- Ensuring the care, food, and water for our goats
- Facilitating participant waivers and check-in
- Assisting participants with questions and providing excellent customer service in an upbeat and enthusiastic manner
- Helping participants take photos with the goats after the event
- Sanitizing and storing materials used during the event
- Processing merchandise sales
Availability on weekends is a must. Experience handling livestock (such as cows, horses, goats, etc.) is preferred.
Events can be for public or private bookings, including birthday parties or recurring weekend events. Private events can take place statewide. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be at least 18 years old.
We are seeking Certified Yoga Instructors to join our team for statewide events. Instructors will be required to meet at our main farm located in Southington, CT, and travel to various event sites throughout the state.
These bookings are for private events, which typically occur 1 to 2 times per month. Events may take place on weekdays or weekends, and dates and times can change at the client's discretion. Public events are usually scheduled on Saturday and Sunday mornings and are typically booked several months in advance.
Candidates must have a clean driving record and be at least 18 years old.
Animal caretakers have a range of responsibilities that include feeding animals, providing fresh water, cleaning their living spaces, observing their behavior and health, administering medications as directed by veterinarians, and assisting with grooming and basic veterinary procedures. They may also engage in exercise and enrichment activities, socialize with the animals, and provide training or behavioral support. Their commitment is crucial for ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the animals.
This position requires minimal hours per week, allowing you to learn about farming while balancing your school responsibilities. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, currently enrolled in a Vo-Ag program, and available on weekends.
