Bradley Mountain Farm is looking for a dependable, outgoing, energetic, individuals who are passionate about animals, are comfortable working with customers and who love to be part of a team. We are currently looking for employees interested in working both during our busy season and off season. Must be available on weekends!
Looking for Certified Yoga Instructors to join our team for statewide events. Instructor would need to meet at our main farm in Southington, CT, and travel to event site which could be anywhere within the state.
This is for private event bookings which may be 1 - 2 per a month on average and come up on a weekday or weekend and may also change dates/times at the client's discretion. Public events are typically held Saturday and Sunday mornings and are usually booked/scheduled months in advance. Must have a clean driving record and be at least 18 years old.
Animal caretakers have a variety of responsibilities, such as feeding, providing water, cleaning living spaces, observing behavior and health, administering medications as directed by veterinarians, and assisting with grooming and basic veterinary procedures. They may also be involved in exercise and enrichment activities, socializing animals, and providing training or behavioral support. Their dedication is essential for creating a safe and healthy environment for the animals. This position will require minimal hours per week, allowing you to learn about farming while balancing school responsibilities. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, currently enrolled in a Vo-Ag program, and available on weekends.
Looking for a responsible leader to organize and facilitate our public and private events. This involves greeting guests, seeing to the goats' care, food and water, facilitating participant waivers and check-in, greeting participants and answering their questions, along with offering exemplary customer service in an upbeat enthusiastic manner. After the event, assisting participants with goat photos, sanitizing and putting away materials used, processing merchandise sales. Must be available on weekends. Some experience handling livestock (cows, horses, goats, etc) is recommended.
This can be for public or private bookings, birthday parties, or recurring weekend events. Private events can occur statewide. Experience with handling livestock is a plus. Must have a clean driving record and be at least 18 years old.
