Reservations for events are non-refundable and non-transferable. You cannot switch your reservation for another day or another event. If you are unable to attend your class/workshop for any reason, you can have someone go in your place.
Due to the rough terrain and the potential to scare the animals, strollers are not allowed during events. You may use a stroller to visit the farm shoppe, or to feed outside the fence.
At our Soap Making Workshop, you will be working in close proximity to Sodium Hydroxide (caustic soda, NaOH, Lye), during the class. It is considered hazardous and can cause harm to your body if handled improperly. Lye is poisonous and can cause death if ingested. Lye will cause damage to your skin, eyes, or any other body part that it comes in contact with. You must be an adult, age 18 or above, to attend the soap making workshop and be willing to follow all safety and class instructions.
Each attendee must have their own paid reservation. Children ages 17 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult that has their own paid reservation. Anyone coming to observe or to take pictures must have their own paid reservation. Our session sizes are intentionally small, so do not bring more people than you have made reservations for without the prior permission of the owner.

Dogs, cats, and other pets cannot be brought to any of our activities. Goats are prey animals and they will consider dogs, cats, and other pets as predators. Our farm has worked with our USDA federal inspector on our process and how we run events. We care about your safety and the safety of the animal and have designed our processes so that people are safe, and the goats are safe. The best situation is when two adults manage one goat, as they are stronger than most people think. In most cases, we find that adults are also distracted watching children, taking pictures, and trying to manage livestock at the same time. Minors can participate by feeding the animal and by helping an adult with the lead. Minors cannot be the primary handler of the animal.
Our Farm Event Leaders are experienced in handling and showing livestock. The Farm Event Leader will always make the final decision on how goats are assigned because they understand the strength of the animal and know how it will behave. They will make the decision when a party shows up for the event, and based on how many capable adults are in the same group.
If you would like to work with an animal, you will need both hands free and to devote your full concentration. Please leave purses, backpacks, beverage cups, and other items that require to be held so you can focus your attention on the animal. Animal handlers must be:
